Today I spotted the 7 birds for the first time at my usual location out of which 3 are still to be identified – (Location: Pond behind NRI complex, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai)

Spotted for the first time

1. Blue-tailed Bee-eater
2. Rose-ringed Parakeet
3. Coppersmith Barbet – This was the most exciting spotting of the day
4. Shikra
5. Lesser Whitethroat
6. Ashy Prinia:  unfortunately only got one photo of this one
7. House Sparrow: This was clicked by mistake. This one was sitting with a bunch of Baya Weavers
